K-3 are using brown paper grocery bags to design their own holiday wrapping paper using different fruit and vegetable stamps during garden. To decorate our wrapping paper we are using potato stamps made with different shapes like hearts, stars, gingerbread people, apples and onions. This activity sparks conversation around where paper comes from, and how important is it to create less waste and recycle during the holiday season. It also opens up the creative possibilities of using plants as art.
