Each year, students in all grades spend about nine weeks in both the fall and spring working on a project-based learning project– an interdisciplinary look at a topic or problem. Students work together as a class, incorporating subjects such as reading, writing, math, and science to develop projects to present to staff, friends and family. The Middle School basketball season is off to an incredible start! This year, SFC has formed two basketball teams to play in an SFUSD league. The newly-created girl’s team, coached by parent Dickie Lambert, has come together to challenge a variety of much larger schools, including some 10-15 times our size. The team has shown the incredible SFC quality of perseverance week after week.
