Exploring Plants!

There is so much to know about our fellow plants and what better place to learn about them but in the garden! Pancake Breakfast Success!

Thanks to all the families and students who participated in the garden activities at the Pancake Breakfast! Flower pot and pumpkin painting, button making and face painting all helped us raise $100 for the garden program. A big THANK YOU to  Veritable Vegetable for donating the big beautiful pumpkins! We are looking forward to more garden fun for the next Pancake Breakfast in February!

Family Garden Work Day! This Sunday, November 18th

Our garden has been looking fantastic this fall thanks to all the families who have come out to support for our Family Garden Workdays! During our September workday we installed new straw borders donated from White Cap Construction. For our October workday we painted did a lot of weeding and painted our cob oven with natural paints. The garden is looking great!

The garden is looking great! Thanks everyone who helped water over the summer. Students will be starting garden class next Tuesday! Our first scheduled Garden Work Day is going to be Saturday September 15th, 10am-2pm. We will need a lot of community support to get the garden ready for the school year. See you in the garden!
