Current Fundraising Campaign

2016-17 Past Fundraising Campaigns:

Our third fundraising campaign ran from April 10th to the end of the school year. This campaign had a goal of $15,000 and we reached the full amount. Go SFC! We needed to raise this amount in order to fund our Parent Action Committee (PAC) budget for next year. It’s especially important for the 2017-18 school year as our district budget has been cut by 8%.

Our second fundraising campaign for Playworks ran from mid January to February 10. With $7360 in contributions, we have just under half of the $16,000 we need to pay for the program.

While ideally we would be able to pay for Playworks entirely with parent donations, we do have other sources of revenue (like grants and fundraising events) that we’ll dip into to make up the difference.

Thanks to all families who participated, and thanks to Coach Sydney for building leadership at SFC and making recess awesome!

Our first fundraising campaign ran through October 7th. We raised $7558, just over a third of our fundraising goal of $20,000 for Education Outside. We won’t be making any mid-year cuts of programs, but if we end up raising significantly less this year than in previous years, we’ll need to have a conversation as a community about how to allocate the money that we do have.

2015-16 Past Fundraising Campaigns:

Our garden fundraising program ran from the beginning of the year until October 16, 2015. We raised $14,060, which will pay for Nidhi, our Education Outside Corps Member, as well as plants and garden supplies for the year.

Our classroom books fundraising campaign ran from 10/26/15 to 12/31/15. We raised $8,360 to help purchase books for classroom libraries.

Our Playworks campaign ran from 1/1/1 to 2/12/16. We raised $8740 to help pay for our Playworks coach, Sophia.

Our “Get Out and Get Dirty” campaign ran from March until the end of the school year. We raised over $7000 for our outdoor learning programs and project-based learning materials.
