Each student created a book that recounted an event that was meaningful to him or her with a detailed narrative describing actions, thoughts, and feelings. This month, students in Mr. Andrew and Ms. Kim’s 2/3 class have been learning about characters. They’ve been exploring character traits and emotions, choosing adjectives to describe them, and finding supporting detail to explain the adjectives they selected.
